Citroen C1 new TV spot

Hi
Here we are again: this time with a nice TV spot for the new Citroen C1. This time the briefing was to create a semi-realistic looking city (halfway between a real city and fake film set) with plenty of colors and a Rome-like feeling to it. This project has been realized for the Euro RSCG advertising firm, and the production has been carried on by a joint Edenlab-Taxfree Film team. One month and a half production time, as usual with Maya and our Mentalray custom shaders.

Hope you'll like it ;-)
Cheers

New Mini virtual showroom

Hi
Another contribution from Edenlab: a visualisation we made for the new Mini with the purpose of inspecting all style/design changes from the old version. It's already a 2 years old work, but we only had the clearance to make it public now :-)
A couple of different virtual sets: the most classic white-neutral one and a more grungy-techno-zen one.
As usual, nurbs modeling and rendering with custom Mentalray shaders in Maya.

Hope you like it.

Peugeot 307 TV commercial

Just a few frames out of our latest TV commercial for Peugeot: a short full-CG story about two cars playing Pong in a desert...
Everything is CG (well, except for the guys at the end: they've been shot on 35mm film): on a special note, the cars have been modeled over a 3D point cloud of the real cars, which we obtained through laser scanning.
A little bit of cooking in Maya with some custom Mentalray shaders...
The gamme might be slightly off, since these images are intended for TV projection.
Hope you like them :-)

Hi.
Since we had this car model hanging around from a commercial we recently completed, we thought: we might give it a try in our virtual set! I think it's a bit better than the Fiat Grande Punto (Link)since this car contains a hint of interior.
Hope you'll like it.

Hi.
Just a few images from not-so-recent works related to the new Fiat Grande Punto: the dirtier images (the ones with the orange wall in the backgorund) are just a couple of composites of the car over a mid-low quality video plate. The rest is a virtual Punto rendered inside a digital reconstruction of a real photo set.
As usual, nurbs modeling by the client and rendering in Mentalray (with some proprietary shaders and no GI or FG).
Hope you'll like'em.
Ciao
Modeling and car styling has been made by the Italdesign Giugiaro group. This video has been displayed during the 2005 Geneve motor show. The total time to complete both videos is around 3 weeks of work, including rendering and delivery.
